Welcome to the Video Bob's Starbase Arcade's Save the Arcades page. Stride® Gum hosted a contest for arcade owners in the U.S., it ended October 6th. To play for Starbase representing the West Coast you would have gone to SavetheArcades.Stridegum.com and followed the link to Play Zapataur contest.

Register a profile at Stridegum.com in order to donate points to your arcade (all it takes is a name, birth-date, username/password and email address). Play the game and give your points to Starbase when you're done! You can play and donate points to Starbase as often as you like during the contest. The arcade with the most points contributed by its supporters during the 8 week event wins! The contest runs from August 11th to October 6th. There will be a leaderboard on the Stride® site showing each arcade's total points. In these troubled times, we arcade owners need to provide a regular neighborhood place to go for entertainment that is affordable. It is tough to continue providing classic games at 1980 prices (25 cents) in today's ecomony.
